Aave's new lending market on the Arc network has seen an influx of USDC deposits, but borrowing activity remains sluggish. As of September 18, around $124.8 million in USDC had been supplied to Aave V4's Arc market, a significant jump from just $24.5 million in excess reserves on September 16.

The increase represents a 65% rise in a single day and a more than fivefold surge since the market began attracting excess liquidity in recent times. However, despite this influx of deposits, borrowing has only reached as high as $568,300, with borrowers utilizing just 0.46% of the available USDC.

This means that nearly all of the deposited funds, approximately 99.5%, remains unused. As a result, depositors are earning an effectively 0% interest return on their investments, while borrowers are taking out loans at a rate of around 0.02%.
