Aave's Equities Hub Ignites Token Price Rally
Aave's token price rose 16.1% to $169.58 after its Equities Hub was launched, allowing non-U.S. users to use tokenized Apple and other major stocks as collateral.
The feature is available through Aave V4 on Base and allows eligible users outside the United States to borrow USDC without selling their stock tokens.
Seven tokenized stocks are currently available, including Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla. These assets can be used as collateral, but only USDC is available for borrowing at this time.
Aave is also considering adding an AAVE burn to its existing buyback program, which would remove some tokens from circulation.
