Aave's Price Surge Continues Despite Security Incident
Aave's price continues to rise despite a security incident involving an Ethereum module linked to leveraged positions. The exploit exposed weaknesses in a custom Safe module, allowing attackers to withdraw collateral from two affected wallets on October 1.
The estimated losses from the attack are approximately $305,000. However, Aave has maintained its technical structure, trading above all major daily moving averages and major exponential moving averages (EMAs).
Rising open interest, which recently recovered to around $482.72 million, signals renewed derivatives participation in Aave's market. Positive spot netflows of approximately $1.77 million indicate improving capital movement.
