Aave's V4 Deposits Soar Past $800 Million Amid Rapid Growth
Aave's V4 deposits have reached an all-time high of $806 million after experiencing a 30% weekly increase. This significant growth has been observed over the past seven days, with active loans also rising to $206 million.
The majority of V4 deposits are held in two markets: Ethereum Core and EtherFi Cash on Optimism. The former accounts for approximately 47% of all V4 deposits, while the latter holds around 32%. Other notable markets include Ethereum Global Dollar, Ethereum Prime, Avalanche Core, and Ethereum Plus.
WeETH is the largest individual asset supplied to V4, with deposits totaling $97 million. This is followed closely by Global Dollar stablecoin (USDG) at $90 million and WETH and USDC at $81 million each.
Avalanche's deployment of V4 supports lending markets backed by tokenized real-world assets, including U.S. Treasuries. However, it's essential to note that on-chain access does not determine whether a product can be offered to U.S. investors, as this depends on the issuer and relevant regulations.
