A Bitcoin address linked to London-based investment firm Abraxas Capital has made a significant transaction. The address in question moved 2,211 BTC, valued at approximately $144 million, onto the Kraken exchange earlier this week.

This large deposit has drawn attention from traders monitoring whale activity and on-chain movements. Blockchain analytics platform Arkham flagged the transfer as it occurred, noting that similar transactions are often interpreted by market participants as a precursor to selling.

The address was previously dormant for an unknown period before transferring such a large sum of funds onto the exchange. This sudden movement from cold storage or long-held wallets can signal a change in strategy by the holder, whether for profit-taking, portfolio rebalancing, or liquidity needs.
