Agboola Joins Elite Ranks on World's Top 100 Fintech Leaders List
Flutterwave's Olugbenga Agboola has been named to the World's Top 100 Fintech Leaders list, joining an elite group of executives including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Stripe co-founder Patrick Collison.
The recognition highlights Agboola's leadership in transforming the financial services industry through technology and greater financial inclusion.
According to Glen White, CEO of Fintech Magazine, the leaders on the list are 'transforming the industry, driving financial inclusion and embedding innovation across products, platforms and customer experience.'
Flutterwave has been expanding its business beyond payment processing, securing a Microfinance Bank licence in 2026 that allows it to hold deposits directly.
The company is also developing stablecoin-based and multi-currency products aimed at reducing the cost and friction associated with cross-border payments.
