AI Agents to Boost Blockchain Adoption and Crypto Demand, Franklin Templeton Predicts
Franklin Templeton believes that AI agents could accelerate blockchain adoption and transform the way payments and transactions are made. According to Sandy Kaul, head of digital assets and innovation at Franklin Templeton, investing in AI-related companies like Nvidia is not enough to benefit from the full technological transformation.
The asset manager thinks that autonomous agents will be able to buy, pay, and book without continuous intervention on blockchain networks. These infrastructures would allow agents to perform their operations efficiently, making crypto a key element of this environment.
Franklin Templeton considers that blockchain could become the main driver of autonomous agents' adoption. The group states that this technology will play an essential role in enabling these systems to reach their full potential in consumer transactions.
