AI-Driven Stocks: IREN, Nebius Group, and Klarna Group Lead the Charge
Investors are showing renewed interest in companies that can capitalize on the resilience of services sectors in the US and Eurozone. One such company is IREN, a Sydney-based firm with vertically integrated data centers and computing hardware in Australia and Canada. Its core business is mining Bitcoin, but it also offers colocation and infrastructure services. The company generates most of its revenue in Australia, at around $691 million, with about $65 million coming from Canada.
IREN's growth prospects are linked to the increasing demand for AI data center infrastructure. It has secured multi-year contracts with major customers like Microsoft and Nvidia, which should drive earnings and revenue growth above 20% annually. However, there are caveats, including heavy external funding and past dilution. The company's valuation is also rich, at a P/E multiple that may deter some investors.
Another stock on the radar is Nebius Group, a technology firm focused on full-stack AI infrastructure. It offers large-scale GPU clusters, cloud platforms, and developer tools, with exposure to edtech through TripleTen and autonomous driving tech through Avride. The company's AI cloud business is its main growth driver, supported by an alliance with Nvidia.
Klarna Group, a digital bank and flexible payments provider, rounds out the trio. Its core business is providing buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) tools to consumers, but it also offers advertising and banking services. The company's revenue has grown strongly in recent quarters, driven by its expanding ecosystem of fair financing, memberships, and card products.
