ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood believes that AI-powered commerce could have a significant impact on Bitcoin and stablecoins. According to her, this new model of commerce, known as 'agent commerce,' relies heavily on artificial intelligence agents handling purchases, payments, and financial transactions without human intervention.

Wood thinks that Bitcoin and stablecoins are particularly well-positioned to benefit from this shift in the way we conduct commerce. She notes that these digital assets offer fast and programmable payment methods, which could be increasingly valuable as AI agents take on a more prominent role in economic activity.

The ARK Invest executive also discussed her views on the US economy, stating that the latest employment figures were not as weak as expected but that inflation risks have shifted. Wood also highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence technologies for companies, warning that those who delay adopting AI tools may face greater risks in the future.
