AI-Powered Compliance Alerts Rollout for Crypto Exchanges

Share

Blockworks has integrated AI-driven compliance alerts into its platform after acquiring Messari in June 2026. The system, called 'agentic surveillance,' now routes alerts directly to exchanges, banks, and regulators without manual analyst review.

Messari's upgraded monitoring product covers over 500 crypto assets and tracks more than 60 distinct event types, including regulatory shifts, governance votes, and token unlock schedules.

The underlying data infrastructure processes roughly 40 terabytes of crypto data, spanning on-chain activity, regulatory filings, and market events. Alerts can arrive in two flavors: analyst-verified or fully AI-processed, depending on the priority.

Blockworks acquired Messari to enhance its 'onchain asset intelligence' capabilities, leveraging years of structured crypto research and a deep archive of analyst assessments.
