AIxCrypto Cash Balance Drops 97% as Company Invests in Faraday Future
AIxCrypto Holdings, a pre-revenue company building a robot-rental marketplace while holding digital assets, reported a significant decline in its cash balance. The company's cash and cash equivalents fell from $19.33 million at December 31 to $577,328 at June 30, representing a 97% decrease over six months.
The decline was driven by a combination of factors, including a $10.27 million first-half net loss and the use of $7.94 million in operating cash flow. Additionally, AIxCrypto recorded a $12 million financing outflow for Faraday Future securities, which accounted for a significant portion of its cash-flow statement.
The company's digital assets also took a hit, falling in fair value to $5.21 million from $10.25 million at year-end. Its Bitcoin holdings accounted for approximately 52% of the June 30 portfolio, leaving the remaining holdings exposed to crypto-market volatility.
