A long-dormant Solana staking position linked to Alameda Research has unlocked after five years, delivering one of the more striking examples of crypto asset recovery in the ongoing FTX bankruptcy.

The original stake amount was approximately $352,000 when it was locked on October 17, 2020. Over the next five years, the value grew 43-fold, highlighting Solana's recovery and compounding staking yields.

The Alameda-linked wallet unstaked 201,741 SOL on August 11, 2026, now valued at approximately $15.27 million. The stake's growth is largely due to native staking yields that continued to accumulate even while the broader FTX estate was under court supervision.
