Algorand Price Breaks Descending Channel, Faces Uncertainty
Algorand (ALGO) has recently broken out of a descending channel that had held for two months, with its price trading near $0.08852 after a 4.35% drop over the past 24 hours.
The breakout came after weeks of pressure building against a boundary that had held for a long time, and if ALGO holds support at $0.08886, it could head towards resistance levels at $0.10525, $0.12736, $0.14531, or even $0.16270.
However, the broader market has pulled back this week, with altcoins underperforming as capital rotates away from riskier assets, and ALGO's own derivatives data shows a 7-day gain of 13.38% and a 30-day gain of 4.13%, but a negative 90-day trend.
The Algorand Foundation has also launched its AC2 protocol, which addresses the trust-model problem in AI agent interactions, giving this story a fundamental thread alongside the technical one.
