Algorand's $0.10 Resistance Ceiling Threatens Further Decline
Algorand (ALGO) is trading at $0.09, stuck beneath a triple-layered resistance ceiling formed by its 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), upper Bollinger Band, and structural supply.
The market context suggests that ALGO should be benefiting from the renewed narrative around regulatory-friendly infrastructure chains and Bitcoin dominance, but this has not translated into performance for mid-cap Layer-1 assets like Algorand.
Technical indicators also point to a bearish trend. The MACD histogram is reading zero, indicating a loss of momentum, while the Bollinger Band %B at 0.71 suggests that price is uncomfortably close to the upper band without actually touching it.
The short-term moving averages are all bunched at or below current price, providing structural support, but the SMA 200 at $0.10 remains the gravitational ceiling pulling every rally attempt back down.
