Stacks Labs has announced that Muneeb Ali will return as CEO, replacing interim CEO Alex Miller, who will move into an advisory role. This change comes at a critical time for the network, which is in its expansion phase after launching its first institutional Bitcoin staking program.

The Genesis Bond, launched on September 10 with participation from several institutions, has already seen approximately 230 BTC bonded alongside 310,000 STX, receiving 0.28 BTC in weekly rewards by September 24. The next bonding period opens October 10 with 500 BTC of capacity, more than twice the initial amount.

The return of Ali to an operating leadership role is seen as a fresh catalyst for the market, particularly since the network's Bitcoin staking product is moving into its expansion phase. With institutional participation and adoption increasing, Stacks' price has surged over 28% in recent days.
