AlphaPepe's Exchange Story Gains Momentum Amid Bitget Security Concerns
Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has attributed a $388 million breach to vulnerabilities in third-party security products. The attack, which occurred on September 24, affected part of the exchange's hot and warm wallet infrastructure, but did not compromise private keys or cold wallets. Investigations by SlowMist and Mandiant supported the disclosed attack path.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe is building a strong exchange story with four CEX partnerships already announced and a fifth partner reveal expected within the next 10 days. The identity of the fifth partner has not been confirmed, but online speculation suggests it could be a Tier 1 exchange or even Binance.
AlphaPepe's presale has been successful, with over $2.87 million raised and more than 12,200 holders. The exchange has also completed a BlockSAFU 10/10 audit and a Coinsult audit, providing concrete security credentials to its investors.
The Bitget hack highlights the importance of exchange security, but AlphaPepe's growing exchange story and strong security credentials make it an attractive option for investors.
