Altcoin Frenzy: Investors Pour $90M into Altcoins Amid Price Surges
Investors poured nearly $90 million into altcoins last week as XRP, SOL, and HYPE prices surged. The influx of capital was led by XRP products, which attracted a net inflow of $39.78 million.
This is the strongest showing for XRP funds since May 15, when they drew about $60.5 million. Solana funds followed with a net inflow of $28.34 million, while Chainlink and Hyperliquid products added $13.35 million and $3.89 million respectively.
The rally was broadened by the rebound in spot Bitcoin funds, which pulled in $1.92 billion during the week. Ethereum products also saw a significant increase, adding about $697 million to take their combined haul to $2.61 billion.
XRP climbed roughly 50% from below $1 to as high as $1.60 before retreating to $1.49. Solana jumped about 24% and briefly traded above $100 for the first time since February, but then slipped back to around $93.
