Altcoin Rally Delayed: Analyst Warns Against Rushing In
A market analyst is cautioning investors against rushing into altcoins, suggesting that they may still have time to accumulate positions before the next major rally. This comes as many traders believe the market has already bottomed out.
Bitcoin is currently trading around $63,000 and has been fluctuating between $62,000 and $65,000, hovering near its 200-week moving average at $63,500. However, this moving average has historically acted as a bear market support level, but it is not a guaranteed bottom.
The analyst notes that Bitcoin has continued to print lower highs since October 2025, indicating that the broader bearish structure remains intact. There is still no confirmation that the market has reached its final bottom, and investors may be better off waiting for stronger confirmation instead of risking another 30% decline.
Historically, altcoins tend to spend nearly 10 months in a long accumulation phase before breaking higher. During this time, Bitcoin often gains significantly, as seen during the 2022 bear market when it rose roughly 70% from its low before altcoins began their strongest rally.
