Bitcoin's price dropped below $64,000 as several altcoins saw significant gains. The divergence between Bitcoin and altcoins is occurring against a backdrop of rising oil prices and a major currency intervention out of Japan.

The decline in Bitcoin's price was led by a 2.77% drop over the past 24 hours, with the current trading price near $63,257.38. Despite this weakness, open interest remains elevated, and trading volume has increased, suggesting traders are actively repositioning rather than showing fresh directional conviction.

Analysts are watching the 200-week moving average, which is sitting near $63,300. If Bitcoin holds above this level, a rebound toward $65,000 resistance becomes possible. A break below $62,500 opens the door to a drop toward $60,000.

Several altcoins saw significant gains, with Hyperliquid leading the way at 4.26% to $55.30. The move is being driven by strong on-chain fundamentals, including record trading volume and continued revenue growth across the platform.
