Altcoin Season Kicks Off as Capital Flows Shift from Bitcoin

Capital flows in the cryptocurrency market are spreading from Bitcoin to the broader altcoin market, according to on-chain analytics firm Glassnode. In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, Glassnode said that 'the altcoin cycle signal has shifted from Bitcoin season to altcoin season.'

This shift is due to the recent rebound in August, where Bitcoin advanced while altcoin prices remained relatively flat. However, during the latest rebound, gains are spreading across the broader altcoin market.

Glassnode noted that the recent upswing is fueling a wider rally across the altcoin market. The firm's analysis suggests that capital flows are broadening from Bitcoin into the wider altcoin market.
