Altcoin Slump: Ripple, Cardano, and Solana Face Further Downside Pressure
Top altcoins Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) are experiencing intense downside pressure. According to FXStreet, XRP has fallen below the $1 psychological threshold, while ADA maintains a steady decline for over 10 days.
Solana remains capped below a 50% retracement level near $76.92. The technical outlook is bearish for all three assets, with momentum reflecting this pressure. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for XRP is hovering near 35 in shallow oversold territory, and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) remains below the signal line.
The immediate support floor for XRP is the S1 Pivot level at $0.9945, with a sustained breakout below this zone potentially extending the decline toward the S2 Pivot level at $0.9271. For ADA and SOL, the near-term trendlines serve as crucial zones to defend recent pullbacks.
Immediate resistance for XRP is clustered in the $1.0740, $1.0745 area, where the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) converges with a shorter-term descending trendline. A daily close above this band would be needed to ease the current bearish tone and open a path toward the R1 Pivot level at $1.1568.
