Altcoin Surge: XRP Overtakes BNB After 65% Price Jump

The cryptocurrency market has experienced significant movements over the past few days, but it's not Bitcoin that's leading the charge - rather altcoins are shining. Ripple's XRP is a prime example of this trend.

XRP broke through its $1.00 support level and surged to over $1.65 for the first time in many months. This represents an impressive 65% increase since Wednesday, surpassing BNB in market cap.

Other altcoins such as ZEC, SOL, HYPE, DOGE, ADA, LINK, XLM, BCH, CC, and LTC have also seen double-digit gains today.

Meanwhile, BTC rebounded from its dip to $76,200 and sits above $78,000. However, its dominance over altcoins has decreased slightly due to the surge in alternative assets.
