Altcoins Gain Ground as Crypto Markets Show Gently Optimistic Tone

Crypto markets were broadly positive in morning trading, but Bitcoin struggled to find direction amidst altcoin gains.

Ethereum led the charge, rising 0.92% to $2,464.81, providing a supportive backdrop for other altcoins.

Binance Coin (BNB) was another standout performer, increasing 1.30% to $703.01.

XRP bucked the trend, however, falling 1.26% to $1.42 and standing out as the session's most notable underperformer.
