Altcoins Heat Up as Crypto Market Sees Slight Rebound

The altcoin market appears to be thawing out of its recent slump as prices have risen across the board.

In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market capitalization has increased by over 2.2% to $2.66T, bringing it closer to the midpoint of the range seen in the past month.

This increase is largely attributed to rising stock indices and a general appetite for risk, as investors shift their focus towards altcoins after recent weakness.

The top performers among the forty most liquid coins were NEAR Protocol (+30.1%), Uniswap (+26.2%), and Aptos (+17.9%).

In contrast, the heavyweights such as Bitcoin (+1.4%, 1st), Ethereum (+1.8%, 2nd), and XRP (+1.8%, 5th) underperformed the rest.
