Altcoins Make Waves: BTW, VVV, and FIL Post Impressive Gains
Three altcoins stood out in the crypto market during the third week of September, with remarkable performances from Bitway (BTW), Venice Token (VVV), and Filecoin (FIL).
BTF recorded a significant 43.2% jump over seven days, trading near $0.70 as of September 15. The network operates as a Proof-of-Stake chain known as the Bitway Ledger, where the token serves for governance and transaction fee payments.
During Tuesday's session, the price swung by 46% between an intraday low of $0.5439 and a high of $0.7944. Technical analysis from the market notes that the asset encountered stiff resistance between $0.75 and $0.78.
VVV climbed 33.5% over seven days, touching $21.45 after a 26.7% pullback from its all-time high of $29.288 set on September 9. The correction found footing at the $21.469 mark, a level matching its previous all-time high from June 3.
FIL staged a 61.3% rebound from its August 18 low of $0.8095, pressing toward an exchange rate near $0.99. Daily turnover for FIL hit $420 million against a market capitalization of $823 million.
