The study compared answers from America.gov, Claude, and ChatGPT to 12 crypto policy questions. While America.gov provided useful official sources, it missed some recent crypto legislation. In contrast, Claude and ChatGPT offered more context on recent regulatory developments.
One key area where America.gov fell short was in its handling of recent legislative developments. For example, when asked about the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill, America.gov's response was outdated, missing the fact that a House committee had advanced legislation to codify the reserve just days prior.
