American Bitcoin Reports $57.2 Million Q2 Loss Amid Expanding Mining and Treasury Holdings
American Bitcoin reported a net loss of $57.2 million for the second quarter as the company expanded its digital asset holdings and mining operations.
The company's balance sheet now holds 8,002 BTC, valued at approximately $500 million at current market prices, making it one of the larger publicly listed corporate Bitcoin holders.
The quarterly loss reflected a combination of weaker mining economics, depreciation, and infrastructure expenses, as well as continued investment in fleet expansion.
