Analyst Picks Five Altcoins With Bullish Price Targets Through 2028
An analyst has highlighted five altcoins that generate revenue through mechanisms like buybacks, burns, or staking rewards, setting two bullish price targets for each through 2028. The selections prioritize durability over fleeting trends, focusing on projects with sustainable fee structures.
NEAR Protocol, trading near $30, aims for targets of $30 and $60. The network enables cross-chain swaps without bridges, and its “intents” fee switch, live since February 2026, contributes to protocol revenue. Cumulative volume reached $20 billion by July, and a proposal to reduce token issuance to 1.6% is under discussion.
Injective, trading near $7.50, has targets of $50 and $90. The network supports on-chain markets and uses monthly revenue to buy back and burn INJ tokens, with over 7 million tokens already destroyed. Pendle, trading near $2.40, splits yield-bearing assets and allocates 80% of fees to buy back PENDLE, with targets of $8 and $15.
Aerodrome, the main exchange on the Base network, trades near $0.80 and has targets of $3.50 and $6 to $8. It recorded $185 billion in cumulative volume and $270 million in swap fees by April 2026. Hyperliquid, trading near $89, has the largest revenue at $685 million over the past year, with targets of $200 and $300.
The analyst noted that larger businesses like Hyperliquid do not always guarantee bigger upside. Smaller projects such as Aerodrome and Injective could deliver larger percentage gains with less growth.
