Anchorage Adds Institutional Custody for Etherlink and Physical Uranium Token
Anchorage Digital Bank has expanded its institutional custody services to include Etherlink and several assets on the Tezos layer-2 network. This move allows Anchorage's clients to hold these assets in segregated accounts at the federally chartered bank.
The added assets include xU3O8, a token representing physical uranium, which has a market cap of just above $9 million according to CoinMarketCap data. Tokenization allows for instant transfer and settlement, as opposed to traditional methods that involve lengthy settlement periods and high minimum investment sizes.
Anchorage is not the first institution to offer custody services for xU3O8, as digital asset custodian Hex Trust integrated Etherlink in August 2025. This integration provides a more accessible way for investors to gain exposure to physical uranium without directly handling or storing it.
