Anchorage Expands Custody to Etherlink and Tokenized Uranium
Anchorage Digital Bank has expanded its custody services to include Etherlink and a unique tokenized asset - xU3O8, representing fractional ownership of physical uranium ore concentrate.
The integration with Etherlink, a layer-2 network built on Tezos using Smart Rollup technology, allows institutional clients to custodies assets on the platform. This includes WXTZ, stXTZ, USDT, USDC, USDSM, and WETH, in addition to xU3O8.
The average transaction confirmation time is around 500 milliseconds, with pre-confirmations potentially as fast as 50 milliseconds. Fees are below $0.001 per ERC-20 transaction.
Anchorage's status as a federally chartered bank means it operates under the same regulatory framework as traditional banks, providing segregated and bankruptcy-remote custody structures that compliance teams and fiduciaries value.
