Anchorage Expands Institutional Custody to Tokenized Uranium and More

Share

Anchorage Digital has added institutional custody support for Etherlink and seven assets to its platform. This includes xU3O8, a token representing physical uranium, which has a market capitalization of just over $9 million.

The integration connects Etherlink assets to Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., a federally chartered bank. Clients can use segregated custody accounts with policy-based controls while keeping the operational processes used for their existing Anchorage holdings.

Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley notes that institutions are not short on interest in tokenized real-world assets but rather lack places to hold them. This distinction is key to the crypto market, where infrastructure includes custody, control, settlement procedures, and operating systems.
