Antalpha Q2 Revenue Drops 28% Amid Digital-Asset Market Slowdown
Antalpha Platform ANTA reported its second-quarter earnings on August 18. The company's revenue fell by 28% to $12.2 million, compared to the previous year's Q2 revenue of $17 million. This decline was attributed to a more measured financing environment across the digital-asset sector and Antalpha's continued emphasis on selective capital deployment.
Chief Financial Officer Paul Liang stated that the company prioritized portfolio quality, underwriting discipline, and long-term risk-adjusted returns over loan growth during the quarter. Notably, Antalpha maintained its record of zero principal loss since inception, which Liang attributed to underwriting standards, active collateral management, and broader risk-management processes.
Technology financing fees totaled $7.7 million, down 40% year-over-year, reflecting lower financing activity and average loan balances. In contrast, technology platform fees rose by 10% to $4.5 million, driven primarily by improved pricing in Antalpha's margin-loan business.
