Apple and Google Seek Stablecoin Knowledge in Job Openings

Share

Apple and Google are seeking candidates for positions that require knowledge of stablecoins in their job listings.

The job openings, which were posted in late August, include a role at Apple Pay's financial product strategy team, where the successful candidate will work with the Apple Card and Apple Cash product teams to develop long-term strategies and evaluate new growth opportunities. The position also involves evaluating new products and business models, as well as potential partnerships.

The job listing for the position at Google Cloud's Web3 team includes a requirement for experience with stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and blockchain technology.

However, it is unclear why Apple removed the mention of stablecoin knowledge from their current job listings, and when this change occurred.
