ARB Hits Overbought Levels Amid $10 Price Target Frenzy
ARB has been on fire lately, rising by over 165% in just one month to trade at $0.21. The catalyst behind this surge is Standard Chartered's $10 price target for ARB by end-2030, which frames Arbitrum as 'the number one choice for TradFi when bringing assets on-chain.' Robinhood Chain's public mainnet, launched on July 1, 2026, on Arbitrum's infrastructure, has pushed the protocol's monthly revenue to an estimated $5 million in September, a fivefold increase from before the partnership. The tokenized fund market cap on Arbitrum One crossed $800 million this month.
However, the market is now looking overbought, with the 14-period RSI at 70.08 and the Stochastic %K at 83.16 having diverged meaningfully from its signal line. The daily ATR of $0.02 means normal swing bands are roughly 10% per day, keeping the trade alive for short-term players but also leading to fast stop-outs.
The moving average picture is bullish on a medium-term basis, with every SMA stacked in a bullish gradient below price. However, this structure also indicates how far ARB has traveled in a short window, and the gap between spot and the 200-day SMA is now over 100%. A daily close above $0.24 would change the conversation entirely.
The derivatives data shows smart money leaning long, with a 1.54 global long/short ratio and 60.6% of accounts net long. However, open interest dropped by 7.07% in 24 hours to $57.4 million notional, which is not profit-taking but position liquidation.
