Arbitrum Dominates Bridge Asset Netflow with $1.6B in Value
Arbitrum's native token ARB has seen a significant price increase of 28% in the last day, with a total value locked (TVL) growth of $170 million over the past 13 days. This growth is attributed to strong commitment from investors, as well as increased activity across decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Data from DeFiLlama shows that DEX volume has surged by over 151% since the 29th of August, reaching a high of about $208.72 million.
The bridge asset netflow, which tracks capital movement across multiple chains, reveals that Arbitrum dominated with a positive netflow of $1.6 billion retained in value. This is a significant factor contributing to ARB's rally, as it indicates that most capital settled on the chain.
Additionally, CoinGlass data shows that there has been a massive inflow of capital into the perpetual market for ARB, with an Open Interest (OI) rise of 65% reaching $169 million. This aligns with the rise in ARB's price and suggests strong demand for the token.
