Arbitrum One has reached a significant milestone in the blockchain world by becoming the first Layer-2 solution to hit $20 billion in total value locked (TVL). This achievement marks a major breakthrough for Layer 2 technology and demonstrates the growing investor confidence in its infrastructure.
The breakdown of TVL on Arbitrum One shows that $6.64 billion is held in Canonical, while $5.32 billion is stored externally and $8.12 billion is native to the platform. In comparison to its competitors, Arbitrum One outpaces Base with a $20% higher TVL, OP Mainnet with a 134% increase, and Blast with a mere $1.55 billion in TVL.
The top native minted values on Arbitrum One are held by the Native token at $4.3 billion and USD Coin (USDC) at $2.2 billion. The platform's AI development support has been a key factor in its growth, with the recent $1 million Trailblazer AI Grant aimed at supporting developers building AI agents on Ethereum Layer 2.
