Arbitrum Price Rockets 90% Amid Polygon Burn and Standard Chartered's $10 Target
Arbitrum's price has surged by over 90% since the beginning of this news cycle, with the token currently trading at $0.25115. This move is largely driven by two major narratives: Polygon Foundation CEO Sandeep Nailwal's announcement that 100M POL tokens are ready to be permanently burned and Standard Chartered's decision to track ARB. The bank predicts a potential 70x appreciation from ARB's current price of $0.14 to $10 by the end of 2030.
Nailwal noted that Polygon is generating real revenue, with $24.5M generated year-to-date in 2026, while ARB has only earned $8.41M. He extended credit to both Arbitrum and Near Protocol teams for their own momentum. Since January 2026, POL has been deflationary, scaling 10x to 5,000 TPS with every base fee adding POL to the burn collector.
The technical analysis suggests that ARB is currently trading near the top of an ascending channel, with a bullish trigger of closing above $0.2845 confirming a breakout. If this happens, the next resistance to watch would be at $0.3613. Conversely, if ARB fails and closes below $0.2114, it could mark a breakdown from the bottom of the channel.
