Arbitrum Surges on New Revenue and Bullish Price Targets
Arbitrum (ARB) has seen a significant surge in price, increasing by 10.15% in just one hour on Robinhood. This sudden move is attributed to several factors, including new revenue from Robinhood Chain on Arbitrum and a highly bullish Standard Chartered research note.
The introduction of Robinhood Chain on Arbitrum's infrastructure has generated substantial L2 activity, with Arbitrum receiving 10% of the revenues from Expansion Program chains. This development has led to a significant increase in protocol revenue for Arbitrum, which is now roughly five times its previous run-rate.
Traders attribute the recent price surge to the fact that markets are 'finally pricing in' improved network economics rather than just speculation. The Standard Chartered report projects ARB could reach around $10 by 2030 and around $0.50 by end-2026, implying a significant multiple from current levels.
The technical breakout after a long period of price compression has also contributed to the sharp move in Arbitrum's price. Traders point out that ARB has broken out of a multi-month descending channel, cleared the $0.17, $0.19 resistance area, and started to challenge $0.20+ with strong impulsive candles.
