Arbitrum Token Rallies to 8-Month High as Robinhood Chain Metrics Surge
Arbitrum's ARB token has reached an eight-month high as Robinhood Chain metrics surge, according to recent data. The token jumped to $0.2051, up by nearly 200% from its lowest point this year, with a market capitalization of $1.2 billion.
Roland's Robinhood Chain has gained significant momentum in the crypto space, becoming one of the industry's breakout stars despite a broader crypto winter. Launched in July, it has become the fastest-growing layer-2 chain, with most key metrics surging, including nearly 200 dApps in decentralized finance (DeFi) launched on the chain.
The same growth is happening in the stablecoin industry, where USD Coin's supply has jumped to $964 million. Robinhood Chain's fees have continued rising, reaching over $21 million this month, which is important for Arbitrum as it takes a 10% cut of all transaction fees.
Arbitrum Foundation has made substantial sums of money from this growth, with over $2.1 million earned this month after making $710k last month. This growth has helped curb Arbitrum's weakness, which saw its DEX volume and stablecoin supply drop.
