Arbitrum Token Tests Key Support at USD 0.20 Amid Broader Market Downturn
The price of Arbitrum's token (ARB) has fallen nearly 10% in the past 24 hours, testing its support level at USD 0.20.
The token's decline is part of a broader market downturn, with Bitcoin falling to USD 83,000 and the total crypto market value down 2.12%. Arbitrum's token fell much further than both measures, suggesting stronger pressure on the token itself.
No single event has been established as the cause of the sell-off, but trading volume was heavy, reaching about 26% of ARB's market value. This could indicate that some traders took profits after ARB gained around 135% over the preceding month.
The Arbitrum Foundation reported growth in tokenized real-world assets on its network, with Arbitrum One crossing 7,000 such assets and a total reported value near USD 1.03 billion. This growth does not seem to have influenced the price of ARB, which continues to struggle around the support level of USD 0.20.
