Arc Mainnet Live: Circle Launches Financial Blockchain for Payments, Trading, and More
Arc's live mainnet has been launched by Circle, featuring over 100 applications and more than 100 institutional and ecosystem builders. The network is designed for financial markets and AI agent economy, with a focus on payments and foreign exchange (FX), tokenized assets, lending and capital markets.
The Arc EVM-compatible Layer 1 aims to provide deterministic sub-second finality, stablecoin-denominated fees, and interoperability with over 20 blockchains through Circle's CCTP and Gateway infrastructure. The mainnet launch includes major trading and liquidity applications such as Uniswap, Aero, Aave, and Morpho, as well as self-custodial wallets like MetaMask, Ledger, Phantom, Rainbow, and Trust Wallet.
BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, and DTCC are among the founding validators listed by Arc, along with other prominent financial institutions. The Arc ecosystem has brought banks, asset managers, payment networks, and market-infrastructure providers into its operation and integration layer.
