Arcus Brings Leveraged ETFs to Blockchain with Tokenized Perpetuals
Arcus has launched leveraged ETF-style tokens on Robinhood Markets' (NASDAQ:HOOD) Chain, providing traders with amplified exposure to crypto and tokenized stocks. The product uses pTokens, which turn managed perpetuals accounts into transferable ERC-20 assets.
The first offerings include pBTC and pBTC3x, offering 1x and 3x long and short Bitcoin exposure, as well as pHOOD3x, providing 3x long exposure to Robinhood. This structure mirrors the convenience of leveraged ETFs by packaging complex derivatives exposure into a tradeable token.
Arcus said it has generated over $2 billion in trading volume since launching on Robinhood Chain July 1, with average daily volume above $100 million. The launch taps into a broader push to make tokenized assets more useful as collateral, with more than half of global financial institutions expected to be actively managing live tokenized collateral by the end of 2026.
