Solana's price has broken through the $100 barrier, marking a significant milestone in its recovery. The token's price has increased by over 25% in the past week, driven by renewed institutional demand and network upgrades.

The Solana-focused ETFs have recorded strong inflows of $33.49 million on August 24, with cumulative U.S. spot Solana ETF inflows reaching above $1.16 billion. This increased demand is a key support for the token's price recovery.

At the protocol level, Solana's Agave 4.2 release has been activated, bringing larger transaction capacity and phased reduction in slot times. The network is also preparing for Alpenglow, a next-generation consensus upgrade targeting roughly 150ms finality.

The derivatives data shows aggressive positioning around the breakout, with SOL futures volume jumping 78.14% to $15.30 billion and open interest climbing 12.65% to $6.66 billion. Options activity has also surged, with options volume up 70.59% to $33.80 million.
