Arcus Brings Leveraged Trading to Robinhood Chain with pTokens Launch
Arcus has launched pTokens on Robinhood Chain, allowing users to trade leveraged perpetual exposure as transferable ERC-20 assets. This decentralized exchange, built by the team behind dYdX and operating with Robinhood Crypto, converts managed perpetual accounts into tokens that can be traded across onchain markets.
pTokens represent proportional ownership of an underlying perpetual account at a defined market and leverage level, enabling users to gain leveraged exposure without managing margins, collateral, or individual perpetual positions. Arcus has introduced top-tier cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Solana, and Hyperliquid, along with products like pBTC3x that offer three-times long or short Bitcoin exposure.
The launch also includes leveraged stock tokens, such as pHOOD3x, which is a three-times long exposure token to Robinhood shares. This simplifies leveraged trading and could make these positions useful across decentralized finance platforms, allowing investors to potentially move tokenized exposure between trading and lending platforms.
