Arcus Unlocks Transferable Leveraged Exposure with pTokens on Robinhood Chain
Arcus, a decentralized exchange built in partnership with Robinhood Crypto, has launched pTokens on the Robinhood Chain. The protocol allows traders to tokenize managed perpetual accounts into ERC-20 tokens that can be transferred across lending markets and other onchain protocols.
The pToken represents a pro-rata ownership stake in an underlying Arcus perpetuals account at a fixed market and leverage level, converting the exposure into a simple, transferable asset. This feature is now available for BTC, SOL, HYPE, and HOOD.
Arcus has also introduced Multi-Asset Collateral, allowing eligible Stock Tokens to back perpetual positions via a USDG loan used for margin and losses. Eligible collateral includes SPY, QQQ, and MAG7 Stock Tokens at launch, each with an initial loan-to-value ratio of 50%.
The team behind Arcus believes that pTokens will expand access to digital assets and create new investment opportunities. They claim that over $250 million in trading volume has been generated on the platform since its inception, with average daily volumes surpassing $33 million and total value locked reaching $18 million.
