ARK Invest Brings Private Tech Investments onto Ethereum Blockchain

ARK Invest, the asset management firm led by Cathie Wood, has partnered with tokenization platform Securitize to bring its ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX) onto the Ethereum network.

The fund is a closed-end interval fund that invests in private and public companies focused on disruptive innovation, and includes stakes in OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, and Databricks among others.

Eligible investors will have blockchain-based access to the fund's holdings through Securitize's tokenization infrastructure, but shares remain illiquid with no secondary market expected.
