ARK Invest, the investment management company founded by Cathie Wood, has partnered with Securitize to bring its ARK Venture Fund onto the Ethereum blockchain. This move marks a significant expansion of the fund's investment strategy into blockchain infrastructure.

The ARK Venture Fund invests in companies associated with disruptive technologies and includes exposure to both private and public firms. The tokenized version, identified as ARKVX, provides eligible investors with blockchain-based access to the portfolio.

Securitize specializes in tokenizing real-world assets and reported that over $5 billion is under management as of July. The company stated that this partnership represents an expansion of ARK's investment strategy onto blockchain infrastructure.

The fund holds a range of private companies, including OpenAI, Stripe, and Neuralink, alongside publicly traded firms like Alphabet, Nvidia, and Tesla. Tokenization does not eliminate regulatory and eligibility requirements but rather provides a blockchain-based representation of ownership interests in the investment product.
