ARK Invest Tokenizes $1.3 Billion Venture Fund on Ethereum via Securitize

ARK Invest has partnered with Securitize to tokenise its $1.3 billion ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX) on Ethereum.

The fund, which invests in private and public innovation companies, will offer eligible US investors the option to buy tokenized interests using USDC through Securitize.

Each token is backed one-to-one by a corresponding share held with custodian BNY Mellon, according to Securitize's release.

The liquidity of the fund remains capped at quarterly repurchase offers of up to 5% of outstanding shares, and secondary and DeFi trading are described as limited or coming later.
