ARK Invest Tokenizes ARK Venture Fund on Ethereum

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest has taken another step into the world of blockchain-based investments. The company has launched a tokenized version of its ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX) on the Ethereum network, using Securitize's infrastructure.

The fund holds stakes in companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, among others. However, instead of direct ownership, investors will receive a fund-level interest, not individual shares in these companies.

The move comes after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved an amended order on September 21, allowing ARK to offer a tokenized share class.
