ARK Partners with Securitize for Tokenized Shares on Ethereum

ARK Invest has partnered with Securitize to offer tokenized interests in its ARK Venture Fund on the Ethereum blockchain. This move allows eligible investors to hold a stake in the fund through a digital token, called ARKVX.

The tokenization effort does not change the fact that shares of the fund remain difficult to sell. The fund's quarterly repurchase policy limits the amount of shares bought back each quarter to up to 5% of outstanding shares.

ARKVX invests in private and public technology companies, providing investors with exposure to the managed fund. Securitize will handle on-chain issuance and investor experience for tokenized interests.
